Our Story

Hi! I'm Jessica, a Registered Social Worker and parent of three living in Toronto, Canada.
I use bibliotherapy and play often in my practice (and with my own kids!), and know that these are some of the most effective ways to support kids and families in learning about themselves and the world around them, and to discover new perspectives and ways of coping.
Both as a parent and as a professional I have struggled to find the books and games that 'fit' for particular things - and I know where to look! I created Wonderbrain to share my knowledge about resources, and how to use them effectively, with other caregivers and professionals.
My hope is that this community empowers parents to support their children in new and exciting ways - especially those with unique ways of thinking and being. Our neurodiversity-affirming products are backed by research and loved by families.
My wish is that all kids grow up in a world where unique brains are celebrated, not just tolerated. A world where they find stories that mirror their experiences and provide windows into the experienecs of others, toys that nurture their skills, and caregivers that have the tools they need to support their emotional well-being.
I'm so glad you found us.
Welcome to the Wonderbrain family - where all brains belong.
